Feel stupid asking this... How do I take out the air filter?
I looked in the manual, on page 7-14 how to take it out. I took out the air duct, unclasped the metal clasps, then... I can't take it out. I feel like there's one more step. I don't want to force it out lest I break something in my engine.
The manual makes it look so simple but it's not, at least to me. What am I failing to do?

that is a really good question. I'd like to know the answer too... my HKS drop in is sitting @ my office waiting to install and I couldnt figure it out either. anyone?
Remove the cover for the battery, separate the air just enough so you can squeeze the filter out. I pulled out the corner closest to the battery first and it just comes out easy after that. you have to remove the batter cover to have a little more wiggle space.

u have to grab it by the neck and teach it a lesson or two... simplest thing without having to take out any more screws and couplers lol
its exactly that what alphawav said, u have to manhandle that beotch lol
