The new MR is faster due to I read the programming for the SST... did the RA's get this as well?

 

The 09s had a TCU flash to fix some issues with the SST if that's what you mean. I know they improved performance for most.

 

The hard part is getting your dealership to perform the flash.

My dealership will perform an ECU or TCU flash only if your car is encountering the issue that is outlined in the TSB for the flash. If you aren't encountering those issues, they won't do it at all.
