Static fuel pressure?

anyone know offhand what the static/idle fuel pressure is in the RA's?

also curious what the static pressure is on a EVO X.

ok now don't laugh as this may be a dumb idea. but i keep on thinking about SRI's and how they effect the overall a/f ratio's. Since its leaning out the entire table. would it not be a good idea to raise the static fuel pressure a bit to compensate? thinking this could be done with either a adjustable fpr. or depending on what the evo X is at idle. swapping their fpr if its compatible.
with the fpr you could either just run it to adjust static pressure or attach the vacuum line to it (thinking aeromtive 1:1) for boost refrence so its adding a bit more fuel pressure as boost increases.
thoughts? am i off my rocker?

A tune would be:
  • Cheaper
  • Safer
  • More accurate

Heh sorry

What you're suggesting sounds entirely possible. I could see this in use before we had these fancy ECU's, but nowadays it would be redundant.

Think how complicated things would get when the amount of fuel entering the engine is dependent on analog boost levels AND digital ECU fuel trims.

agreed. was just thinking about how my old 1g turbo'd neon was setup. mind u i was using a rising rate regulator rather then a 1:1

was mainly thinking about intakes and lean conditions. and got me to wondering specifically about upping the static fuel pressure a touch to compensate. really curious what the RA static pressure is and EVO X is. looked under the hood today and the fpr mounts to the rail in the same manner the evo X does.
