Ur fmic

I just ordered the fmic from ultimate racing.
Does anyone in the forums have it installed?
I'm planning to do the install by myself...
Hopefully I can pull it off.
Any cutting or mods that I have to deal with?? or is it all bolt on?
Also what's the most difficult part installing an fmic?

Thanks in advanced

well i woulda assume the most difficult part of install and fmic would be, installing the fmic

but really, from what i heard it can be done w/o taking off the front bumper which makes it a bit tricky. If you take the front bumper off you will have an easier time.

Yeah lol I'm just wondering about the fittings of the UR fmic. Hope I don't have to cut or modify anything...
Any tips on installing the fmic would be great!

I just picked up a UR IC for my X a couple weeks ago... the first one showed up damaged, the second one showed up fine. They're very nice, but I've spent some time polishing the top and bottom of the core because they don't have a nice finish from garret...

The install isn't hard on an X, but it does require you to remove a bracket by popping some plastic rivets I believe... I still haven't installed it yet. I'm not sure on your RA. GL with your build

Its definitely necessary to take off the front bumper which takes like 20 minutes to remove. With the bumper out of the way, you can access the mounting points and attach the new intercooler to the licp.

I have not heard of any work arounds with the stock pipe but if you can you should get a hard pipe. it will really boost the numbers

Why cancel it, i love it
You guys are all tripping, i have the UR FMIC with stock piping and its fine, idk what all the fuss is about. And actualy no the hardest part is not installing the FMIC, i could do that with my eyes closed lol the hardest part is the removal of the bumper , which isnt even that hard to begin with. Any other questions
