ETS Intercooler VS Stock Ralliart Intercooler

We recently had a Ralliart in the shop for a front mount install. Here is a picture of the OEM intercooler vs the ETS Intercooler. The size difference is amazing! The inlet and outlet size is also very small and restrictive on the Ralliart.

The ETS Intercooler kit is now a direct bolt on for the Ralliart guys. If you plan on running just the intercooler you will need to upgrade the upper pipe as well since the hose on the Ralliart is around 2.0" in diameter.

The lower pipe is a direct bolt on with our intercooler.

Here is a teaser picture of our new intake I will have details shortly.

In short we have a full intercooler kit that will work and intake

Thanks!

Michael

whoo hoo! That's my car! I haven't even gotten to see it in person yet. Car is still in the shop getting my turbo swap done.

Thanks to Michael and all the fine folks at ETS. Can't wait to actually see the intake when I get my car back.

So, what you're saying is..Any EvoX FMIC will fit the RA with an aftermarket UICP?

I'm using the ETS UICP and LICP (with an EVO X stock FMIC) and have been very happy with them so far. =)

I'm pretty sure we determined that a long time ago

Only real issue is the depth of them, as I think the ones that are a lot deeper than stock start to have clearance issues without some slight modification.

another intake option is nice. where is that recirc hose going tho? lower down on the intake pipe?

and a bit off topic, but since intakes are mentioned, how come nobody is making just replacement pipes for the stock accordion turbo inlet hose so we can keep the factory airbox but just add a bit smoother air transition into the turbo after a high-flow drop-in filter? i've seen them for the x, in silicon and metal, but nothing at all for the ra, i figure it would be easier to produce than an entire intake yet nobody has opted to make one yet... weird, imo

the only thing you have to watch out for when putting an evo x pipe in a ralliart is diameter. with a 3 inch diameter pipe the plastic covering over the i/c wont fit

Sorry for the dumb question but you mean that the ETS IC is a direct bolt-on with the stock RA LICP? Thanks

You will need a reducer coupler to go from the LICP to the IC, but otherwise it should work (same as the majority of other EVO X FMICs).
