Works and SSP 400hp Drivtrain Pkg.

| SSP 400 HP Power Package
$1,500.00
SSP decided to come up with a package deal. And you know how SSP does it saving over $ 540 off MSRP.
400 HP Kit includes:
-400 whp clutch packs
-upgraded steels
-8 liters of Pro-red transmission fluid

As used in the WORKS Lancer Ralliart race car.

Application: '08+ EVO X MR, '09+ Lancer Ralliart

I am so stoked now that there is an actual setup for our cars to go past 300 and the clutchpacks will hold. Now if only there is a way for the TCU to keep up.

I'm curious, does anybody know how they came up with that HP number? Maybe it's just be, but I'd be a little concerned that the reason why it's being sold for so cheap is because they're trying to get as many units out into the real world for testing as possible.

I read on one of the other threads about this that it should hold more but they just said 400 to be safe. I think some MRs have close to that number as well

How long did the testing phase last though? The concern I would have is that saying "it can handle X amount of power" is a very questionable claim because of all the variables that go into assessing the holding capabilities of a clutch and their general longevity.

Yes and this $1500 package would then turn into a $8500 package once you have to replace your transmission.
