Ams bov question
Whats sup community.
I got a rather ignorant question. Before asking this specific question please spare me the ricer commentary as i rather new and inexperienced with automotives and the purposes of specific afterparts!
I have read a lot of info on BOV's and their purpose and what are the do's and dont's. Out of no where I stumble upon some ridiculous commentary on BOV tuning. I am sure this is non existent and just a dumb idiotic phrase.
I recently bought a AMS BOV and have replaced my OEM. Very satisfied with it! When I installed I just went on assuming remove the old piece and input the new one; typical maintenance 101. Can this specific BOV be adjusted to regulate the amount of boost that is released? Some BOV's come with an adjustment that if you tighten it too much nothing is released. If you loosen it too much it can blow off!
I know its a dumb question but I thought I would ask on here for some POSITIVE feedback. I have already contacted AMS; however I am thinking I can get the answer here much quicker!
