12's on stock turbo running E-85!

Well guys,

Only change from my first 12 second time slip from last year is that this one was on E-85 instead of 93 octane, and EVO VIII MR wheels with Advan tires instead of Enkies with Blizzaks.

The stock fuel system can only handle a few seconds at high boost / heavy load before I go lean. Running through the gears, boost falls off fast enough that this isn't a problem until I get into 5th gear. After 3 seconds in 5th gear at over 21 psi of boost (and over 100% duty cycle on stock injectors) I start to go lean and have to let off the throttle.

Even with this issue I was able to pull a 12.916 @ 102.81 I was planning to crank up the boost higher, and advance the timing... but with this issue I saw no reason to push any harder on the stock fuel system.

Here is the time slip:

Thanks!

I am getting upgraded cams, ported intake manifold, and the double pumper fuel system with 1000 cc injectors in the next week or so installed and tuned by Buschur Racing on E-85... just waiting for the cams to come in

Second slip has my best mph (104.4) and keep in mind I am letting off the throttle in 5th gear before the end of the track due to going lean from needing the fuel system upgrades.

White with Recaro package.

Haven't pulled the ROM yet. It's on the to-do list for tomorrow.

Nope. Due to the need for larger injectors and fuel system upgrade I chose not to do a new custom tune for the car. Just re-scaling the injectors got me to the point where the car is fine for daily driving and even "spirited" driving as long as it doesn't involve a long pull in a single gear resulting in leaning out the engine... so I will leave it as is until I pun in the fuel system, cams, and ported intake manifold.

Nice time!

So, do we know for sure that the RA fuel injectors are smaller than the EVO's? Any idea of the cc's for the stock RA injectors?
