I get it alot. Mine usallly clears itself after driving around for a little. It's the air fuel mixture it's off a little.

P1235 is airflow limits, nothing to do with AFR.

Which rom are using?

The 2010 Airflow/Torque limiter CEL defeats haven't been found yet but should be soon.

Can you tell me what you where doing (RPM / TPS) when the CEL was triggered?

Good news is I just picked up a 2010 RA as well so expect more goodness from the basemaps.

manual mode, 3rd gear shifted at 4500 and the light came on, put the car into drive, and was shifting like it was in sport mode after.

Easy way to clear it is start and turn off the car 5-6 times the light will go off.

if you let the car idle a few minutes after you unplug/replug the battery it pretty much wont come back for months. BUT it will come back regardless, in most cases P1235 says it's a bad MAF Sensor, but like Bryan said it's pretty much airflow limits... Most people with flashes have been getting this error, so I doubt most people's MAF sensors are going bad

I have a 2010 Ralliart Sportback now so I will be doing a ton of testing on it, all of which will trickle down into the GST Basemaps...

Keep your eyes on this thread: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/09...sportback.html

I just got this code in my 2009, using the 93octane w/boostpill basemap. The service engine soon warning lit after a WOT freeway merge in Normal Mode. Also- After coming on, the shifts were similar to Sport Mode, and the idle was about 500rpm higher.

So I got it to turn off and duplicated my earlier situation. The service engine soon light lit up w/ p1235 as before.

No fix to at present time?

You are using the GST Basemap or something else?

Is there any difference between the 2009 and 2010 maps?

I'm using the GST 93 octane w/boostpill basemap.

Right when the SES light comes on, it shifts strangely-almost like sport mode, and it idles higher. If I turn the car off and restart it, the light will still stay on, but the idle and shifting returns to normal. Turning it off/on a few more times will clear the code, or I can clear it with cable/ecu flash.

The only mods I have are: an HKS drop-in filter, Forge diverter valve, boostpill, Stainless UICP, and an Evo X intercooler.

Yesterday, I went out and tested to see if the light would come on after changing the bypass valve back to OEM. It still lit after WOT. Then I replaced the drop-in filter back to OEM and tried again. And again, the SES would light after WOT.

I'll try to answer any other questions you may have.
