TC-SST is serviceable!
TC-SST is serviceable!
The tech who works at my Mitsubishi dealership is being sent to training in ATL next week so he can repair the dual clutch transmission! Just thought I'd let everyone know Mitsu is doing this instead of having to have them swapped.
I think it's a nationwide Mitsubishi training, because I doubt they'd have a training session for just one person. Maybe you guys could ask around your dealerships whenever you're in...

We should get a group...buy some Ralliart apparel (shirts/jackets/etc) and show up at the training facility in Ohio(Edit: ATL. Got mixed up somehow, hah.) and get our training on!
.
I'm glad the SST is gonna be serviceable. I was worried this was going to turn into another
3kgt debacle. I wonder if they'd ever publish a SST-specific service manual...wouldn't that be awesome.

The training was in Atl. No one in their right mind would come up to ohio. I need to run into the dealership in the next few weeks and will see how it went/what will be offered.
thats awesome. no-one at my dealer has been selected for this yet, and honestly this is the first any of us have heard about servicing the sst. fingers crossed im the one who gets sent...
Sorry my tech went to CVT training not SST training. He talked to the people there and they said that since very few SST's have failed they are not going to develope a program for it. I didn't mean to get your guys' hopes up.
