if you're letting off the brake very slowly or only partially, its likely the brakes making noise. specifically for newer mitsus, this is a very common problem, especially with lancers and outlanders. very slow gradual stops, and acceleration from a stop, if you feather the brake pedal just right, it'll only partially grab and make some of the most obnoxious sounds you've ever heard. i've had a couple customers come in saying that their car had something wrong with it and then i would ask them to pick any random brand new model of the exact same car and i can nearly always duplicate that particular noise on the very first try

I have come to realize the mitsu's just make weird noises...That doesnt mean that almost everytime I go somewhere and hear something i tell my girl "oh did you hear that, what was that?" After a while that one sound that used to get me i get used to and move on to the next.

thanks guys!yea the only time it makes the shuttering/vibrating noise is say when I am stopped and let off the brake and dont give it gas and when it coasts it does it but the whole air conditioning thing is really starting to get annoying fast!
