AMS FMIC+PIPE and Test Pipe
Hey my AMS parts came in today just wanted to show you guys; installing it tomorrow and taking it to get it tuned ...will post results once I get it.

Wanna let me know how the test pipe install is? I have a hfc coming soon. Take off the crash bar for the intercooler install or else it'll be a PITA!

Sure will; I was gonna get boost pill; but my local tuner told me he'll do a 3 port solonoid suppose to be better than boost pill. will post up results when i get them.

For a turbo back, since you have a testpipe you need a downpipe and catback.

It's not considered a turbo back.
a turbo back is downpipe, testpipe of hfc, and cat-back.
cat-back is replacing the part after the cat.
It's just classifications, nothing you do or don't have to do.

crap...that means i got the test pipe for nothing? should i even install it? would i get any gains from it? If not I guess I lost $200 :[

You'll gain quite a bit with just a test pipe after you get tuned. You'll see more power with a catback.

if you could only change one pipe on the entire exhaust, the test pipe alone will net the greatest gains.
