If you're still running the factory tune, the car is never going to pull as hard as it's capable of in ANY of the gears, so my suggestion would be to start there.

I agree! I just installed my Cobb AP and it's well worth it!!

Yeah for some reason I don't feel the need to redline in 1st gear either. I think it's got more to do with the very short first gear than it does the engine/boost. I could be wrong though.
