Hey guys,

So I just got my AccessPort today and well I thought I would upload a video of what the car does during the install process. I was originally not going to put a video up but I had my iPhone on me and well I was a little bored when it was installing. If you would like to see more videos feel free to ask and I will do my best to put them up here.

Can you flash it back to stock if you need?

Also it comes with the maps preinstalled correct?

yes you can flash is back, takes about 3min, and the basic maps are preinstalled, they're pretty much like universal maps for cars with simple mods like intake, but if you want to maximize the power of you car with a map you need to take it to get tuned, so you can have the max power you can get out of your mods and be have it be safe. And remember its also comes with other features like anti theft, valet, fuel economy, and gauge reading.

i have a question after you load the map say a custom one, can u then disconnect the accessport from the port correct? I'm guessing you cant since the calibrations are on the accessport, or if im wrong it just switches the calibrations, meaning its saves and takes out the stock and then replaces it with the custom map, and vise verse', correct?

You do not have to keep the AP connected after a map is downloaded/installed on your ECU.

The ECU is "reflashed"
It's too cool

I just downloaded AccessTUNER Race on the weekend and I am looking forward to learning and tweaking my own custom maps

Well there are two ways you can use it...

First - Flash ECU and call it a day '"BORING"

Second - Flash ECU and keep it installed to record live data and watch your boot and so on. "BINGO" :-)

Guess what way I use mine..

Here is what I used to mouse the AccessPort for the gauges..

I picked mine up at AutoZone for 9.99 and it works perfect, you can use the OBDII and USB at the same time with this holder.

has those similar alligator clips which will be nasty on the paint. I'm thinking if it didnt have that many teeth, you can get one to go all the way to the back without touching the paint then clipping in

If you go to pep boys they have a type s one that doesnt have the alligator teeth, just two smooth clips. I have that one and as long as your not taking it off every day, it doesnt do any damage. Its for cell phones but expands and can easily fit an ipod or pda, or Cobb ap in your case.
