HKS makes you hear the turbo and makes a woosh BOV noise...at least mine does.

all filter upgrades will do that lol.

none of them have the noise suppression like the stock one does.

And you should get an intake, they ud really hear it wiki, what you hear now is just whispers.

Decided to go with the Works High Flow Air Filter! Should be here this week sometime. Eventually down the road I will get a Short Ram probably.

Eh, I bet that you stick with the filter. It is a lot less hassle and miles more cost effective. Plus, most of them are rechargeable. That is like 90% of the battle, right there.

You need a jdm 3 bar map sensor stock on the evo x and an intake air temp sensor. You need to change a few things in the rom. Its well documented in the ecuflash section of this forum.

hmmm that's worth looking into. i've went through a lot of MAFs with a HKS cone filter in my Silvia. debris and or water kept getting in and ruining them.
