So at idle I'm sitting at -9.2 . Now, with the car on but not running it should say 0 but I'm at -0.8 so the formla can be adjusted in evoscanso you read 0 with key on. So really I'm at -8.4. Depends on your elevation I think.

-15psi at idle! Holy turd, thats twice what I am getting right now. Why is that? Piper and I are spot on 8.5psi at idle, I have never hit -15psi, not even in sport mode after letting off pedal. Hmm

I'm curious why you are so paranoid about your vacumm pressure at idle? It's one thing if you arn't building proper boost to troubleshoot a vacuum leak but if you arn't having any issues why worry?

SOG_RA no wonder you have over 700 posts

Around -8 PSI is what I remember having. Tho I don't have any log with me at the moment.

Did you notice any problem with your car??? Why are you stressing so much about it?

I had to replace my vaccum hose the other day and hose wall was a little thicker then the stock one. My question is what clamps should i use, i seem to have lost the other ones.will any clamps work and how tight should they be

Thanks for pointing out I was "trippin" every answer I got was from a 9 or 8. Simple question.simple answer. Thanks to those that answered even though its a dated thread. For last question, the thickness is fine, just better quality hose. You can get vacuum hose clamps at almost any auto parts store. Get the assorted bunch. They are the same as what came stock.
