I officially have the worst tune :(

Hey guys so 2 weeks ago i did the X swap expecting major gains

So I come back to the shop to pick it up and get my print dyno print out and i was dissapointed and angry and so many emotions lol.

My mods are : X turbo, HKS wastegate, UR catback w/test pipe, UR FMIC and K&N cone attached to evo MAF sensor

It read 267awhp, 256trq boost at 17.8psi and worst of all i popped 3 engine light codes.

I had to leave for vacation that night so I just said I would handle the situation when I come back. So now I'm back and going back to the tuner on Wed.

If this doesnt work, wat do you guys recomend? AMS mail in tune?

Do you have any base numbers? It is hard to compare if you don't have base numbers?

I do agree that those numbers seem kind of low. Especially the PSIs. Stock turbo goes higher than that.

Does it feel different or worse than before?

judging by the wtq... it is quite low... they are probably not familiar with the 4B11?

Honestly, ppl get that kind of power without the X swap... maybe u can make sure they installed =P

Ya x turbo is in there, I have the old one in the garage. I just don't understand because my friend with a gsr got tuned at the same place, same tuner with great results. He got 317hp and 302trq with a turboback and uicp on a dynopack

I would do a custom tune, but the AMS mail in tune will get you into 12's and safe running.

I am going to go ahead an ask if you have all the parts you are supposed to swap along with the X turbo in your car, I have a feeling you might not. There is a pretty big list of parts needed for the swap, much more than just the turbo and a few other things. Sucks about the numbers

Your boost seem kind of low because I'm at 320hp/294tq @ 24 psi.

If you up the boost to around 25psi you will hit 300whp.

25-18psi = +7psi
6hp per psi
6hp x 7psi = 42hp
------------------
267awhp + 42hp = 309whp

What are the 3 codes you have? Anything to do with the MAF?

If 17.8 psi is indeed your peak boost then it is 3-4psi less then what a 100% bone stock Evo 10 runs.

Do you have a wideband on the car?
