fp green or bbx lite

so i currently have a evox turbo on my car but now i want something more so i am either thinking of getting an fp green or a bbx lite what do you guys think. i am just looking to get about 340awhp and i want to keep it till redline unlike now with the boost falling of to 17psi i would like it to hold build boost and hold it. if GST could post a recomendation on this one it would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Considering Bryan strapped a BBX Lite in his own car with really good results, I'm pretty sure I know what he is going to recommend. He's at 320hp not 340 which would be more than enough in a RA I'd say.

The evo 10 FPgreen and BBX lite seem to be very close to each other on capabilities.

I'd say pick your poison.

Fair enough man, all good. You planning any handling upgrades or brakes with this much power?

Are you not going to have to put a clutch package if your going to be that high with who? Cause I'm debating a go green right now bit scared of my clutch going.

Nm. He tuned E85 today. 358 Hp and 311 tq. He is limiting torque to save the tranny.

Agian, Is one not required to put a clutch/tranny package upgrade if exceeding 300 wtq/whp???

Depends on the tune. Bryan was able to map a nice even slope to his tune so the power does not hit quite as hard all at once and has tailored his boost curve to suit his SST tranny. Best thing to do is read his thread yourself.

Actually, the problem is the WTQ (Torque is the raw power of the engine), experience proves that once you get over 300 WTQ, you have very high chances of getting clutches slippage and transmission over-heat issues.

What Brian did is he work at maintaining his Torque a little below 300 WTQ all the way. This way he actually get more WHP (by maintain his Torque a higher RPM level) and he should not harm his transmission.

But like in anything there are many ways of doing things. The safest way to do things is to do the power-supporting mods (stronger transmission, better radiator, gauge, logging, etc...) before actually doing power-enhancing mods. This way you increase your changes of success.

Brian has the ironic luck of having a tuner driving his car everyday. Most of us don't have this opportunity. So he can do things in a way, normal drivers like us should not try.
