Help?!?

Ok, so I'm kinda worried something is wrong. I feel like my boost isn't as strong as it was when I first got the car and also when I put my car into sport mode and accelerate it seems to slip at 1st gear. It won't immedately pop into 2nd and will lag. Anyone know what's up and how I can fix this?

I only have an Injen CAI on it.

Does it happen early in the morning when the engine is cold?

It highly recommended to have a tune after you have an intake upgrade, although the manufacturer claims there's is no need.

Don't think the Injen CAI has to do with the issue you have.

Did you wait long enough for you transmission to warm up? Our car is pretty intelligent and has plenty of mechanism to protect it. What you experience is probably due to the fact that you transmission is not warm enough.

It's been mentionned recently in the forum that there might be a 15 minutes delay before the transmission is at it's "normal" parameters. (Look at the most recents posts in the GST Basemap thread for more info, it's been slighly discussed).

Yeah as far as the power/turbo problem I fixed it...After taking a long look under my hood checking for any loose hoses/piping I thought back to when I first had the car and it had 94 octane. Manual says 94 and I had been running it on 91 for a couple tanks... so last night I put 94 in it let it warm up and presto I was ripping around like my car was straight from the dealership. But the first problem still worries me. It's done the slipping in 1st a couple times. I'm sure it will come back.
