well i ran into some wasteland chatter tonight when i was playing around getting the winter mpg tune finalized and all i could hear after about 3 psi was a rattle noise that got more consistent and faster as i accelerated.....

popped the hood couldn't see anything .....

put car in drive step on brake and gas listen and feel..... burn hand

wastegate opening and closing non stop

Look deeper me being an instrument tech i could not understand wtf was going on

i know it takes pressure to close the wastegate so i build boost, but its fluttering wtf......

look harder and see my boost pill line which has been off and on with swapping back and forth for tuning and logging and notice my clamp dont hold ****


moral of the story.... always keep small black zipties in a boosted car, and multiple sizes of gear clamps, and duct tape, duct tape will save your life one day.....

ive been around the block now with boosted vehicles to say the least...



also 91 shell gas, boost pill , 1000 ft ceilings and 32f weather makes these cars amazingly fun

i love how these cars are so much a diesel killer, i like seeing Bullydog stickers on them too and than theirs jaws hit the floor when the car just leaves em
