Are these worth buying??? Im trying to get my e85 tune on my(09) ra.. Looking for advice before i buy a set of injectors..

I have basically all bolt ons... Running 320whp...

I was told by brian(gstmotorsports) to get dw 1000's or id1000's...
But im also trying to save a lil extra $$$$
when these rcs are about 100$$ cheaper.. You know!

 

The RC Engineering injectors need a resistor pack to be wired in and also adapter harnesses to connect them electrically. They are not the correct impedence. That makes it kind of a wash money wise compared to the Deatschwerks or Injector Dynamics drop in options. Even if you have the resistor pack from a DSM or EVO, the wiring takes a bit to make it a clean job.

There is more to running a LowZ injector than just bolting them in. Like Mike said above, you'd need to wire in a resister pack...and unless you find a good used one and do the install/wiring yourself...it will cost you more in the end.

 

so what's the going rate on a set of 4 1k cc injectors for the 4b11 platform? is the 499 on your site valid or would you be able to offer a better deal through the forums here?

We are getting ready to launch a new website in 2011. Looks like the $499 on the site is the old price, currently $489 is the going rate that will be updated.

We do have many dealers that are sponsors of EvoM, too.
