Aha, then it's not related to the topic and pretty confusing.
I can hear a small venting sound aswell but it kinda drowns in the higher pitched whine and engine notes.

i dont see how its off topic seeing how OP is asking if ppl with aftermarket filters are hearing bov also, i was simply just sharing that i have a HKS drop in and showing what my bov sounds like

nothing special really lol, stock evo x bov, the pipe coming from the intake to bov is plugged, and the bov just sits to the side of it.

I dunno about that. I heard from LOTS of resources that VTA is a terrible idea without a tune.

I would also like to have the vta sound but without proper logging I think theres a big chance something will go wrong down the line.
My next mod will prob be a wideband like Innovate LC-1 but I won't be able to install it myself.

It's off topic because you expect to hear the BOV very clearly when it is vented to atmosphere. Not so much when it is properly recirculated with the stock airbox setup.

To the OP, your fine man that is just the valve doing it's job and venting the residual boost pressure when you let off.
