here is a video of my car with the K&N filter and after i give it some gas and let go you can here what sounds like a BOV. Im not sure if this is normal or if i didnt close the box all the way. If anyone has this filter can you here this too?

 

normal, mine makes the same sound if i let off between 2500 and 3000 RPMs

i think it does this without the k&n filter too.

 

I have the same drop-in filter, and I hear it as well. I also heard that sound with the OE filter in.

 

thats the sound of the plastic leaking air...

 

If im hearing what i think lol, mine does the same thing. Its like a whistle sound when you let off the gas right?

ive noticed its louder outside the car than you think.

 

Well, if you look at the title of that video, it says that the car has a Vent to ATMOSPHERE BOV, so that's always going to make a lot more noise than the factory recirculation valve used by Mitsu with the Ralliart and Evo.

 

yes its VTA, and the way i have it setup i have not had any problems.
