Car PAID !! Now...

....Time for some upgrades.

Sad to say i'm inexperianced with cars and this is my first...happy to say it's a RA though... anywho just paid off the sucker last month and its time for some stuff.

So i've been looking at AMS and i'm thinking thats the route im going to take for my next RA goodies.

Where to start? I thought about doing the pill+flash but then I would just dump more money into a flash later??

That being said, I'm really interested in the stage 2 and 3 and just saying to myself ok, just get them both and do it once, do it right. But i'm not to keen on buying an exaust i've never heard before and also buying both of them....well how does the ECU work out with that? I feel like i'm screwing over 350+ bucks by getting 2 flash's when they would literally only do one?

Let me know what you guys think I should do.. right now im sitting on stock. everything.

Maybe I should E-Mail them about the 2 x re-flash situation?

Any suggestions on what to start with first is awesome.

Thanks--

just look around and buy id say atleast upgrade bov, exhaust, intake, hi flow cat, intercooler, and upper/lower intercooler piping. dont install them as you get them, stick them in the closet til you have them all then go get a custom tune. best way not to waste money on tunes. if you arent happy with the gains then your looking at turbo upgrades, fuel pumps, injectors, etc.

AMS & UR have awesome products and thats the parts I have for my car. Start with intercooler, exhaust, BOV, UICP, LICP, intake, & possibly even the CBRD RAD turbo. You live in Cali so you have many choices as far as tuners go just look through the forum and read up on other peoples reviews and pick one!

No one can give you sound advice until you decide what you want to do with the car, or atleast what areas you want to improve upon. Figure that out first, if you already know then spill the beans and we will see what we can suggest.

Here are some guidelines for you as what you want to do with the car.

Do you have a short/long term budget?

Do you plan to focus on a specific area (power, suspension, show)?

How much power do you want to make?

What is the purpose of the car (Daily Driver, drag, road race, show car)?

Do you have brand preference (Name Brand Only, try someone new)?

There is a lot of good advice waiting for you, but a little guidance is needed to flush out all the ideas waiting for you.
