Engine Mods Question
I believe that the advantage of an SRI is one of convenience. I have had a CAI on my Eclipse for 6 years now. I have not had a single problem, and that car is much lower than the Ralliart. Plus, I live in Florida. It doesn't get much worse, water wise, than that.
Hahhahahahahaha Krisko is the biggest troll ive scene!
CAI dont cause problems if you not stupid and have common sense (which some people dont)
Back to topic, CAI isnt really nessissary, a SRI will work perfectly fine, and if you get a larger intercooler that will cool the compressed air to most and will give you the best gains. Nothing fancy even just an Evo X intercooler and LUICP (because its metal vs plastic) does awesome.
After that, Id agree with the exhaust system for better back-pressure and air-flow. But that can be added later and doesnt need a tune

I was going to post something about him too but I decided to wait a little to see if he would post something worth... I noticed him a few days ago and it's always the same type of post :P
I only post what well known businesses or organizations show or tell me. If you don't like it, you're more than welcome call then and ask yourself. Again, I feel noobies would rather hear what dedicated evo shops would have to say over word of mouth good or bads from a forum post with a username and picture next to it.. I guess doing that really does make me a troll since I thought these forums were here to help people. Youre more than welcome to put whatever you want on your car, theres no law against it (unless you live in cali), but with a pea shooter turbo your gains are going to be minimum. Heck, the stock turbo with a drop in fine for him. Can we get back on topic now?

Its is true that a CAI is exposed to water and dirt. But to say that people should stay away from CAI because this could blow your engine and blablabla is an over statement.
Just for your information, SRI picks up hot air... Knowing that someone could interpret it the wrong way and start arguing the SRI will making your engine blow from overheating, which could theorically happen in extreme cases. But in the end almost every guy on the forum ran some form of SRI or CAI on one of their car over an extended period of time without killing it.
And to further proof how much you overstate everything you hear. Your tuner might have told you that the stock plastic BPV is fine for YOUR application. But a lot of member have experienced leak on the stock plastic BPV and some on the Metal one... So you stated something that is in complete contracdiction with the experience of other members of the forums. Did you at least read the existing threads on the forum before proclaming yourself an expert on the subject?
Again, these statements weren't based off my applications. And lots of threads overstate a matter, its a persons way of expression, its your choice to take it serious or not. Regardless, if you would like to debate, do it in private message. Don't flood this guys thread.
