Getting Tuned Soon...Got some questions

Well Im getting tuned in about 2 weeks and I wanna be able to get as much hp as I can on the stock turbo. The mods I have to be installed are:

AMS intercooler
AMS single exhaust
AMS UICP
UR LICP
Evo X BPV
Grimmspeed BCS
Im also looking at getting the UR metal 3" hi flow cat...how much hp do you guys think these parts will give me & what else would I need to be around 290-300 hp?

250 whp/260 wtq

You need a new turbocharger to get up to 300 whp.

I have a GrimmSpeed BCS that I can sell you, btw. It is BNIB and $75 shipped. I haven't even put it in the FS section, yet.

More likely with all the mods you have you will put 270 - 285 awhp. An intake will complete your set up and yes you need a bigger turbocharger to reach 300.

On the heartbreaker down here in Durham, I doubt that it would be that high.

It is not likely possible to reach that power level with the stock turbocharger.

The stock turbo runs out of steam and won't make 300 reliably you should do a stock evo x turbo swap to get there...

don't be so focused on numbers. it's all about the curve. there's a reason why there are dyno CHARTS as opposed to just number readings.

if you just wanted peak dyno numbers, go find the highest reading dynojet and/or virtual dyno. Way easier/cheaper to hit 300, but does it really matter once that happens to you or anybody else? The numbers are all a reference. the chart is what matters

enjoy the tune regardless of what numbers come out of it

Very true. The best comparison is going to be a non-subjective data point, like time, which is where the 1/4 mile becomes relevant. Even then, people complain about elevation, weather conditions, etc., but the point is: time and distance are constant and a faster time covering the same distance is a faster car. Period. Wanna get faster, move to more optimal conditions or keep working on the car.

If you noticed the "mustang dyno" numbers from vd I'm still only around 280 with no smoothing on the graph, dynojet numbers are always higher and is why a lot of people like using/posting them. But that's also why I provided both graphs so people could compare numbers relative to the dyno usage in their area.

I absolutely believe once the car is finished to where I want it to be, it'll be capable of pushing 300 on anyone's dyno, but the real test is going to be getting the stock turbo into the 11's.

Let us know what you dyno.

I'm going to be tuning shortly + installing my mods. I'm curious to see what I'll get out of it.

I'm almost running the same setup but a little more in the exhaust dept:

EvoX FMIC
Ultimate Racing 2-pipe UICP/LICP
Ultimate Racing Short Ram Intake
Ultimate Racing short downpipe, test pipe & cat-back
Synapse Engineering BPV (help hold boost)
Boost Pill

Then a custom tune with an expert tuner here who's done over 80 Ralliarts in the last year.

He showed me a dyno sheet from someone he tuned with a cat-back, intake and UICP (1 pipe) and with his tune he was able to make 270whp/280wtq. He said I should get up to the 290whp/300wtq with my above setup or close to...

Fingers crossed!!

In Montreal (east area). Maybe 2.5 hours from Ottawa! What are you planning on doing?

I bought my boost pill from Ultimate Racing and he flashed the GST 93 oct + boost pill tune for me for $40.

He is also going to get my tune going when all my stuff is installed.
