Battery Bracket Preview
Information
Ok here is a list of everything I used with some pictures. Since I did not take pictures during the cable run to the hatch all I can do is tell you where I routed things.
Items needs
Patience ;-) and no Beer till the end LOL
Part Number from Mitsu
1 - 8571A018 - Fusible Link Cover

1 - 8571A019 - Fusible Link "I used a new one as the old one was a pain in the *** to take off and the plastic started to crack"

1 - 8571A017 - Union Joint "The item needed to mount the Fusible Link and Battery Cable running from Trunk or Hatch.
1 - 8571A022 - Main Bracket "This is the bracket that is replaced that everything bolts to for mounting. Below is a picture with the Bracket and Union Joint attached.

1 - MU000310 - Nut that is needed
4 - MF911145 - Bolts that are needed
The items you will need to purchase elsewhere
Battery Cable if Mounting on Driver Side of Hatchback, ff you choose to mount any where else you will need more power wire. I got the Power, Ground, Fuse and Fuse holder from the local stereo shop for $99 high strand count.
17 Ft of 1/0 Gauge Power Wire - Make sure it is real flexible and has a good jacket around it. I ran the wire down the drivers side of the car through the firewall.
3 Ft of 1/0 Gauge Ground Wire - Find a spot to run the ground to that is the shortest possible distance from the battery and scrape the area real good to remove the paint to make a good connection.
200 AMP ANL Fuse and Holder - This mounts as Close to the battery as Possible.
2 - 1/0 Battery Clamps
As for the battery I am using the Braille B2015 since I know we have limited room in the Sportback. I have not got the battery mounted exactly how I want it but it is mounted in the cubby using a couple battery tie downs and clamps from Autozone the same type you would use to mount under the hood. I chose the driver side since the passenger side had the fluid reservoir and did not want to deal with that.
One last thing you will need is 2 - 14 inch 4 gauge cables to extend the engine cables. One mounts to the fusible link and the other mounts directly under it to provide direct power to the battery. Both of these cables will need ends put on them. As I do not like cutting factory cables ;-). I used 2 right angle ends and two flat ends. Right angle ends on the 4 gauge are used near the fusible link. The two flat ends are used run a bolt through with a washer and lock nut to attach to engine harness. You then need to use electrical tape or shrink tube on the area with the bolts you then cover with plastic loom and them put electrical tape over the plastic loom to make sure everything is covered.
I hope this will help everyone. As for the total cost of parts $189 roughly not counting the battery I already had. Estimated time of install taking your time about 6 Hrs since I had no clue what parts I would need or exactly what I needed to do.
The only con I have is with the small battery is the factor that the engine cranks a little slower but it is not bad though. I plan on seeing if I can find a battery that is larger that will fit on the Sportback but since everything works fine with my current setup this is a future item I will look at doing.
If anyone has anything to add please do!!
Thanks

they "look" the same
and don't ralliart sportback owners have the lower-level trunk compartment? I know the GTS's do, but I haven't had a RA Sportback on my dealer's lot since 2009. That lower compartment looks like a perfect place to relocate the battery while still keeping it hidden and clean looking
You can't use the one that came with the car? The Ralliart's looks the same, it's just connected directly onto the battery post obviously. I remember calling kozmic and asking if these "distribution blocks" were needed, and they're needed on all cars. I took a second look and, sure enough, the RA's have one too. it's just hidden under that red flapper cover
