afr

I just installed my wideband and was curious what normal afr readings are while just cruising and letting off the throttle and coasting. I searched but really didnt find anything.

During cruise, idle, very light throttle it will bounce around 14.7.

On decel it will be full lean, 20

What company did you go with to buy the wideband?

was it easy to install?

On my vehicle (modified GST base map, boost pill)...

When I let off the throttle, I'll get a brief rich spike followed by either a total fuel-cut or a map-lookup-based trailing fuelling around 12.8:1. The ECU decides which by tossing a coin, I think.

When I initially increase throttle, I'll also get a brief rich spike.

As Bryan said, on light throttle cruising - and even light-throttle accelerating - you'll stay in closed loop, and bounce around 14.7:1. With restraint and careful throttle control, it's possible to drive around all day in closed loop.

I bought an AEM Eugo of the boards used. It was easy to install. I have a friend with a X that already installed his and has the same a pillar I have too so it made it super simple. There are how tos on how to install them also.

Got logging from it too?

If it's got 0-5V analogue, you can connect that straight into pin 8 of the Taxtrix OP2.0 and log in standalone mode.
