I have the WORKS drop-in high flow filter. Very high quality and my gas milage has improved around an extra 15-20 miles till empty depending on how my driving is. I used to get about 200- 210 miles till E and now I get around 230 till E. It really sucks in a lot more air as well. Just my 2 cents.

I haven't done a dyno run yet so I couldn't tell you for sure. But as for the "FEEL" factor of the ride it does feel faster. But I also have a hard UICP and the JDM evo X BPV. So that all together i'm sure has a part to play. WORKS advertises those that the drop-in filter will give you a HP gain of 10 - 12 I think it was. Good luck on your choice!

Forgive my ignorance about such things... are oiled filter panels 100% safe and cool to use on a MAF sensor car?

PS. I used a K&N oiled panel filter on my last car (which didn't have MAF sensor). It lasted over 150,000km and always did a good job... so I won't take a lot of convincing to buy K&N again...

There are plenty of people running oiled filters without any issues, but there have been a FEW reports of them causing issues on hotwire MAF setups on this platform and others. I often wonder if the issues weren't from the original filter condition, but rather over-oiling by the owner during servicing.
I personally choose to use non-oiled filters on my own car, just in-case.
