Engine Mount insert?

Is it worth buying them or no? I saw Ultimate racing had some and i was curious to see if they would improve the car greatly or no

Harder engine mounts is going to make your car vibrate more.
Less engine movement will net you a bit of better response from acceleration & deceleration but may induce more engine wear & tear (which is debatable).

If you're looking for any type of comfort this mod wouldnt be it.
If you are looking for fraction of a sec improvement & dont care about comfort go for it.

Honestly don't think stiffer mounts are gonna be worth it till your making more power, i would spend money on other things first. I ran stiff mounts in my last car but it was a fwd car and solid mounts helped when launching to prevent wheel hop, i don't see that as much of an issue with the ralliarts.

The reason for stiffer mounts is if the engine is moving to much and i don't 'feel' that play or lash up in this car...

Not like in my Protege5 where Mazda used mushy black donuts for mounts. The car would wheel hop violently and the hard mounts fixed it - but the cost - oh the cost! The vibes rattled everything and made the engine louder as it transmits more noise too (and not the 'good' noise of a cat-back ; ) )

So, i would say 'no'.

I have the AMS Evo X Polyurthane Motor mounts in all of them, there cheap since you can put them in yourself. I feel an amazing different in my 60ft and even just punching it at 60mph. Yes the dash will rattle like a ***** and you might have to turn up the stereo up. When in sport mode and downshifting is the worst but its a mode you will notice. I only went with the street version, the race are too hardcore for a "street" car
