UR SINGLE Exhaust

Doesn't seem to be too popular, surely there's atleast a few guys on the forum with this exhaust.

Can you post some photos of it and provide feedback with fitment & sound.

thanks.

untuned, a UR exhaust is extremely loud. If you live in a state or province that has noise restrictions, or just very strict law enforcement, then i would shy away from this exhaust. Before my tune you couldnt really talk in the car normally without basically yelling at each other. People said they could hear me coming from miles away. After my tune, my car quieted down quiet a bit. All that i mentioned is basically non existent, unless you are winding down a gear or going down a hill without shifting to neutral, in which case, the exhaust is loud as all hell. Now im not saying it isnt loud anymore, if you start to throttle her coming off a exit ramp or something, or go WOT then she will scream.

I have it on my evo with the mini muffler test pipe and minimufler b-pipe. It's damn quiet.

One guess wrong. This exhaust is the same as the one for the evo, with a slightly different bend at the rear diff. Sorry to say your guess is completely wrong. As for the guy running it on his car saying it's loud. I would venture to say you have a straight pipe and no mini muffler option.

^Really you don't say. Take a LOUD straight pipe and give it 2 inline mufflers to quiet it up, shocking

If I was to switch from my DC Sports twin tip, i'd go for the resonated midpipe w/ the UR single CBE. Single exhaust is really starting to grow on me.

Even originally with an HFC the exhaust is quiet. I wanted to open it up more so mini muffler went in place of the HFC.

Only way i could see that exhaust being loud is on some tools car running a straight pipe. And in all fairness that pretty fooking stupid.

This exhaust is absolutely beautiful sounding with the mini muffler option.

But thats just common sense.

Dual exit exhaust, trust me it was very, very very, did i mention very loud. Also is resonated, no mini mufflers.

Custom CBRD tuned
Evo x Turbo
Megan Exhaust manifold
Ultimate racing Long downpipe
Ultimate Racing High Flow cat
Ultimate Racing catback
Ultimate Racing FMIC UICP/LICP
CBRD Custom Short Ram intake w/ Velocity Stack
3 Port pierburg Boost Solenoid
HKS SSQV3 BPV

And Other mods
Blacked out Projectors
Blacked out Tails
Tinted Windows 3m 15%
Tenzo 18.7.5 rims
Aluminum Shift knob
Swift Springs

but like i said after all this, it has quieted up quite a bit. It is much more tolerable now, but she does still growl.

Nice setup sir.

When I spoke to Darryl about the single he said its more quiet then the dual as it uses a different muffler design. Its by no means stock!.........but still more manageable in terms of noise then the dual.

I just wanted the best flow and milder tone hence why I went with the single. Its a fine piece that's for sure.

well thats good to know for people seeking something much more mild, especially in states/provinces where the police are very strict on the sound ordinance. I figured it woulda been louder!

Heres an up close of mine. It sits to the left a bit much but with some playing around I can fix that. I love this exhaust though.
My buddy has this same set up on his X, Single out without the resonator. I find on my car its wayyy louder than his. I plan on doing what theNEWB did with his just to tone her down, my 1 yr old doesn't seem to mind it being in the back seeing how everytime I punch it he goes "wweeeeeeeeee" , but its still for a piece of mind.

^^^^^^^ awesome, that ma just be a bad weld or a bent hanger. The rear reaonator makes the tone a lot quieter then the front one.
