I have a 2011! I usually drive it around town in sport/manual mode because everyone says normal in any mode has more slippage I guess. I only use normal/auto mode when I go to work 30 miles away always on cruise in 6th gear. I wonder with the GST 2.7 basemap if the clamping pressure of normal in auto or manual mode is about the same as stock sport in auto or manual. It would be kind of nice to sometimes roll around town knowing the clutches will slip less in normal/auto without the high revving of sport mode. I don't mind the jerkiness

There's likely to be a new Base Map release soon, with reworked SST tune. We've got some beta maps available right now, and people are testing it.

It pretty much ticks all the boxes in your wishlist...

Just to see if I'm reading that correctly, is that a 2-3-4 pull and let-off in 5?

All this info has been fantastic, I have a netbook and a tactrix cable on the way to monitor these temps. I have picked up my car from the dealer now and the clutch feels 1000% better. Since Ive picked it up though Ive noticed a knock from under the car when it come to a stop ( about every 5th stop). Ive also noticed the rear diff fluid(in the boot) is sitting under minimum. From what I understand this is something to do with Torque transfer, would they need to touch this to change the gearbox? Ill be taking the car back in for the knock, but could all this be related?

The knock from under the car is probably the sound of the SST selecting 1st gear. You can sometimes hear it working.

I don't know if it's the SST itself, or if it is a clunk "somewhere else" down the drivetrain as a result of a bit of clutch application by the SST.

The fluid reservoir in the back is for your ACD. It likely may have been bled by the dealer during the service and not quite topped off fully

This was indeed the problem, they didnt bleed the line correctly and the air was causing the knocking noise from the pump.

I think we're all over thinking this topic (as is the case with most topics on forums). I'm sure that in the world of unpredictable traffic scenarios, we all drive both aggressively and normally over the span of a work week, even those who drive most times, in a conservative manner.

I usually drive in auto/normal but when I'm doing lots of stop & go I put it in Manual/sport that way i can leave it in 1 gear. IMO this is MUCH less abusive than having the tranny go 1,2,3,2,3,2,1,2,3,1,2,3,2,1 in a matter of 50 feet lol

Ya I had my first "nasty cluck" going down to first gear (while in auto/normal). IMO the trans really hates going down to 1st from 2nd while coasting/rolling to a stop, as opposed to applying light braking.
