Question AMS Widemouth DP for Ralliart?

I was just wondering how many people would be intrested if AMS would make a widemouth DP for the ralliart just like they do for the Evo X.

I'm talking to Dan at AMS about it. I wanted to see if people would be intrested. I'm going with the RAD turbo and I believe this would be an awesome addition to it. I know we have the UR long down pipe, but please keep this about if your would be intrested in AMS making a Wide Mouth DP for the Ralliart/RAD turbo. Thanks!

why get a widemouth for the stock single-scroll turbo when you could upgrade the turbo and get the existing widemouth dp?

Read first post. I'm upgrading to the RAD turbo and Not everyone wants to do the Evo X swap. Thanks. yes if you do the Evo X swap you can do a AMS wide mouth for your DP. I'm not arguing any of that. If you want to do the Evo X sway, Amen to you. I'm asking if anyone out there would be intrested in this.

I personally think that is a waste of a product for a single scroll turbo.

I've heard the rad turbo is very responsive and lag is not an issue in the higher power band, but I would be swayed based on theory, even if i wish to aim for conservative hp numbers (300-330hp). http://performancespecialties.wordpr...turbochargers/

the reason i commented on twin scrolls is because, i agree with tiresomejunk, that the "widemouth" part of it is not as useful in a single scroll setup. if your aim is optimized flow (the point of a widemouth), start at the manifold and turbo. read the article, and i don't see an educated-consumer market for widemouth dps and single scroll turbos.

Sorry guys I tried - AMS Response: I wish we could do it but it’s just not in the cards. If it was a much larger market we would consider it but its simply not there

I already saw this coming AMS is a business. Spending money on r&d for a small majority who choose the rad turbo is not ideal. If you want the full potential of their products you have to do an evo x conversion. Much bigger market for the evo x. Since cbrd wanted to create the RAD they should support the R&D for a widemouth downpipe. Just saying.

Score 1 for the x swap guys... Always looking down on the RAD.
Just because it's not a x turbo doesn't mean it's not worth it.
