I'm dead set on parting ways with a certain tuner shop in the South Bay cuz they can't (or won't) solve my cold start problems (https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/09...0-fic1100.html)

Instead of doing a google search on "tuner shops" and blindly picking another shop, I'd like to draw from other Evom members' experience in my search. If anyone's from NorCal/Bay Area and knows of a tuner shop who can troubleshoot or tune 2011+ models flawlessly, show them some love and drop their names here. Thanks and stay frosty, my friends.*

 

I use Works myself and like them as they are pretty nice crew over there and they are pretty good and figuring things out (like my mystery chirping sound I had last week). Many of the members here that are local to here like GST and many of the people in my autocross group that runs EVOs likes Speed Element...so take your pick of the bunch. But honestly, if your in south bay, Works is kind of a trek all the way up in napa so you may wanna check out GST or speed element first and have a chat with the tuners there. If they make you feel confident give them a shot...if not go try the next one until you find a tuner shop that fits.

You know I keep hearing about this and nobody ever actually does it :P .

 

You should send a PM to Bryan(Razorlab) and see if he can tune it for you or recommend someone good. He used to be a tuner at GST Motorsports and is the person behind those wonderful FREE GST Basemaps, and as far as I know he still lives in California(although I don't know where)

 

full function use to tune my EX girlfriends X did a pretty well job im pretty sure they should be able to do RA. see if you can contact them on here

 

Unfortunately, I found out that GST doesn't tune Evo Xs or RAs now that Bryan no longer tunes there. And SpeedElement doesn't tune at all
