Is there any one in the Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama area that knows how to do this? Also looking for tuning help since I will be doing evox turbo swap soon.

You can do it with a Tactrix and a $20 subscription to mitsubishi tech info. That's what I did to update my MR to the B001 TCU.

Just an update on the rev hunt thing
(no, we still can't really tune it out)

but out of maybe 20 cars I have personally reflashed by now - I know of only 3 that do it. so your chances of getting it would seem to be relatively low.
The cars that have it are spread over old and new models, and I have tried evo roms, RA roms, benching them up to newer roms and newer SST firmware - still no dice.

For those who used the Pass Thru software, I'm just one step away for the reflash.

How come when I put the h/w and s/w numbers at the search for reflash file box, it says no results found

I used 8631a827 for the h/w and 8631a8270a for the s/w.

I tried on 2 different computers but no luck.

I'm not sure if I missed something. Appreciate any inputs!

EDIT:

NVM. Figured it out. But another problem is the site is giving me B002.dio30.cff file instead of the b001.

2x Edit:

NVM. Figured it all out!

@vaqusis - any update on the tutorial you were working on? I think there are a few RA owners hanging out for 'S-Sport via Tactrix for Dummies'

Yeah I have the tutorial I've just gotten swamped at work and haven't had time to upload it yet. I'll post a link soon to where it will be housed including all necessary files for the flash to work.

I was hoping to fix the $20 subscription problem by tricking the software into finding the key locally on the PC but no luck so far.

Hey guys n girls

I have a 2014 ralliart and have not been able to get the "S-Sport" mode enabled for the life of me. I work at a mitsu dealer and have access to the MUT3/Medic system and have successfully completed a reflash. I have read and studied about 10 dif tutorials including the few different ones here. YES ive used the search button lol.

8631B151.cff on my 2014 ralliart installed correctly.. ive noticed in automatic mode - shift points are longer drawn out. higher revs before shifts. thats fine. in manual mode, no difference. No S-Sport mode and no dreaded "Rev-Hunting".

After this step:
click "AUTOMATIC REPROGRAMMING (CAN)" ...

I should.. click "AT/CVT/A-T/TC-SST ...

Yet with my 2014 RA I only get an option for "ELC-AT/CVT/TC-SST" though the reflash was successful.

Is the difference in pre-2014 RA models why im not getting S-Sport?

Cheers

Good question. We haven't played with the 2014's much. What is the TCU version number. B151 should be 8631A8270A.

I'll have to find out tomorrow in the afternoon time. I knew I should've written down all the different numbers and such. S-sport seemed easy. Didn't know my 2014 was going to be the redheaded exception to the rule haha
