Exhaust Leaks

I just got a dual exit cpe cat back exhaust from a member on here and I have a few questions. This is my first time doing any exhaust work. So once I had it installed I start it up and go under it to check for leaks and I notice that where the mid-pipe splices into the back section there is a slight leak around where the clamp goes on. Then where the one side of the muffler splices to the other it has a slight leak. Should I try repositioning it or will it be fine?

Also where the midpipe joins the converter there is a leak and there's water dripping out of it. It looks like the converter is rusted a little on the bottom side by the flange. I used the oem gasket that was on it. Should I get a new one?

Had same issues as you, I just went back under and wiggles the muffler as I tightened the bolts, seemed to tighten it up a bit better and then I had no leaks.

I went out and loosened the bolts that go into the converter and then tightened them, but somewhere in the process I believe the one bolt crossthreaded and now I'm afraid I may have stripped the threads on either the bolt or the converter or both.

best thing to do is to take your car to a exhaust shop and get them 2 finish the job. This should cost you between 35 and 80 dollars tops.
