Shifting problems

My 09 Ralliart is completely stock and I keep up to date with maintenance. Currently at 62,000 km/38,000 miles. Over the last week I've noticed that when left in auto/normal (boring, I know) the transmission is shifting later than it normally does. I try to stay out of boost during stop/go traffic and usually the car will shift around 2500 rpm in to the next gear. Now I'm noticing that its closer to 2700-2900 rpm before it will shift. Shifts feel a bit harder as well when I put the car into manual mode. Anyone have this problem or have any advice?

Have you done your Evo3 service (the one that incl. transmission fluid and filter change) yet?

the car will shift gears before boost if you keep the throttle low. thats normal.

I notice that the car has been shifting a bit late also but, it's from the cold weather here in Toronto.

Yes I did the change about 10,000 km ago. However, they did not change the filter (the dealership said they did not perform this service) only the fluids. And yes I know it will shift before boost if you keep the throttle low which is why I said it would usually shift around 2500 rpm. However, it seems like it needs more revs lately in order to shift. As for temp, it's finally rising here in Vancouver so I have to say that it's likely not the cold (current averages is around 6C/43F).

I would do a flush and change that filter! It's expensive but when I did mine all problems ceased and felt like a brand new tranny again
