I've been reading up on this as well,
If you looking at the least expensive dual pipe options, the Magnaflow & Turbo XS systems can be found around $500 if you search the exhaust threads.

They're also some of the more quieter ones. It has also been known the DC Sports option has fitment issues so you might want to read up on it and watch the you tube sound clips.

Magna flow CBE is great for sound and has no drone. Its not loud until u romp on it and its quiet when cruising ie does not attrack the cops... i ahve a buddy with the ulitmate racing on and has losts of drone def not a long haul drivable.

Do you have any pics of what single exhaust looks like? I like the idea but want to see what it looks like on the stock bumper, which has the cut out for dual exhaust.

AMS single can still be had. Some stores still have a couple and they are in the marketplace being sold all the time. With that said AMS dual is def an option as well just more expensive but a good choice if you dont like the look of single with dual bumper cut outs.

I really miss my AMS Dual now. Only thing is I got in a car accident and it knocked my downpipe so hard it split at the o2 and downpipe meet. Stuck out a lil farther than the UR did. My cars never been the same

I just got a custom exhaust done. 3" from the catback w/ a Vibrant resonator and two Vibrant mufflers. Sounds amazing and I love how it looks.

I actually do have a sound clip. I went out and shot a couple of clips with the gopro today. Give me a day or two to get it uploaded.
