Evo X BOV Upgrade

So im looking about switching my FMIC and upper and lower pipes. Im also looking at replacing the BOV along with it with a used Evo X BOV. My question is, will i need a tune after the install? Im currently running the GST 91 octane basemap

No tune needed, you will not over boost unless your running some god awful monstrosity for a turbo. Only upgrade I see here is you'll be cooling your air a lot faster, in theory colder denser air equals more horsepower but don't expect huge gains.

It is possible to get higher initial boost readings after switching out the junk plastic BOV for a better quality one, like Evo IX/X metal unit.

The initial peak boost will depend on a number of factors - each car will be a bit different. The GST Base Map is aimed at delivering boost levels that are about right for the majority of the bell curve. Fitting a less-leaky BOV is likely to shift you to the right on that bell curve... a bit.

It's a good idea to run data logging, and to check stuff like boost levels.

And it's easy enough to revise. See here.
