Blew out rear diff. Where to find parts?

Where would one go to order parts to repair the rear diff?

I had changed the transfer fluids using diaqueen lsd earlier this week. Was taking off on the on ramp giving it some gas, then when I get to the cruising speed switched it back into normal. When it shifted into sixth I heard a grinding noise when it shifted. Next thing I know I hear a boom and a bunch of rattling. Pull of to the side of the road I see transfer fluid leaking from the rear diff. I think I am just going to head to the dealership tomorrow and try to get it covered. Minimal mods on the car so I am hoping that they cover it. If not I am going to lawyer up. Were the drive shaft goes into the rear diff has a ton of play. Hoping it just blew a baring or something. Also I don't launch my car. Way back when I got a glitch saying overheating from the sst. Only have launched the car twice since I have had it.

That makes no sense..did the nut fall off? or ??? how many miles and what kind of hp are you pushing haha also if you look in the evo 8/9 section at the top there is a sticky about the rear diffs. There are companies that will do work on diffs. You can try to call and ask if they will help. If they do that would open a new door for us ralliarts to get some serious rear diff upgrades! ex. upgraded clutch disks and even 1.5ways ect.

With a 1.5 I think a lightly moded ralliart can keep up with a stock evo around a track just someone needs to try it.

That's the thing. I am not pushing much over the stock HP. Biggest mod on it is the exhaust. The ra is a 2.0 BTW.

I think he means 1.5 way rear diff. Meaning # ways the differential applies torque.

How much fluid did you put in? Did you torque down the fill/drain bolts to spec?

I used the official mitsu rear diff guide on the fill level. As for torque, all good.

Sometimes, it's useful to quote the person you're responding to, because it helps to reduce misunderstandings
