2009 vs 2010 RA - Transmission Flush

Since we don't have a Mitsu dealer in Windsor, ON...I decided to do my own SST transmission service on my 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart at my dealer were I work at. After researching around about how to do it, the only results I found is 2009 models that has 3 drain plugs and how much the capacity it takes..etc.

The reason why I'm posting a thread about this is for the people who owns a 2010+ models, apparently 2009s have 3 drain plugs, the 2010 on the other hand has 2 drain plugs. The amount of drained sst fluid from the 2009 is approx. 7.8L ...however for my 2010 drained only approx. 5.2L - 5.3L (including the filter replacement)

as far as the fill up process, its the same as the 2009s

If you have any other notes to add please do so. Thanks

7.8 is the system capacity. The 2009 only drains around 5.5 L as well

good to know that, because everyone seem to have a step by step process and claiming that's how much it drains...for the 2009s at least...but thanks for ur input

No problem. People on here sometimes drain the oil cooler and replace the filter, in addition to just draining from the plugs, which is why they may have larger volumes of drained fluid.
