on the sedans it's near the right rear wheel well behind the inner skirt/inside of the bumper

ya same spot. I was wondering why they never ran these inside the trunk area near the fill cap, seems they have plenty of room

 

Confirmed. There's a black plastic over over it but it has a drain hole in the bottom so it doesn't make the compartment weather-tight. I sprayed a bunch of fluid-film in there so hopefully I don't run into any corrosion issues.
