As of right now, it was slipping before but not to my knowledge since fluid change so i will stick with ffl-2 and see what happens. Worst case im gonna have to change clutches sooner, which im not too worried about. Good point on veronica though, may do the s-sport mode as well.

Oh yeah nice, what color is it? Ive seen a couple RAs driving around. I live down the street from BG. Plan on sticking with boostin for clutch packs, they said they do it. That way i have one shop do all my stuff makes it easier in my opinion, plus theyre a pretty reputable shop around here.

This thread makes me hopeful lol I just need to source me out a testpipe or hfc and i'm probably going to head to Boostin to get my car tuned if I cant find someone to give me a baseflash. I pretty much have all the same mods ready to be installed on my car aside from having a stock x uicp instead of an aftermarket.

Which hfc did you end up going with? any cel?

Boostin has one actually thats 200 cel and was under 150 if i remember correctly. Price is decent and didnt have to pay shipping. I had them put it on too cuz my bolts were rusted and i believe welded as well.

How much did they charge you for the tune? None of my bolts should be rusted terribly. Car is not even a year old yet.

Their hfc runs almost $300. You're thinking of their test pipe for that price.

At the bottom under "choose your options" there's a drop down window and when you select "high flow cat" it says to add $129. I'm under the assumption the $159 is just for the basic aluminum test pipe.

Oh yeaa my bad lol apparently i dont remember correctly then my mistake...i went there and paid things alltogether so i must have gotten mixed up whoops. Well that is what i went with, but u can find others for under 200 for same quality. Just do a bit of a search because i had found a couple but needed them asap for tune apt so i just bought it at boostin. I had found someone on here who had them i cant find the email but im sure a search will help ya.

Ummm, I don't think you're going to find a good quality(metal substrate) BRAND NEW HFC for any less than $250(and even that's going to be hard to find). If you disagree, then prove to me that you're right by posting a link to one that meets all of the above criteria......

My gfs ralliart is rotor glow. we are normally out in the gurnee area thats where she works i take her car on occasion. im assuming the cost of the tune being $450/ $200 was for the pipe? im glad boostin can work on the sst as well looks like that is where i will be headed to get my fluid swapped. did they do the fluid and filter swap too? if so how much?

Yep on the 450/200...just pipe may be too loud up to you. I prefer the cat but thats just me. They can still install if u bring ur own. I ordered filter from ssp just the paper one and fluid i went with pentosin ffl-2 (cheaper but very controversial on whether good or bad idea lol so thats at ur own risk, if u are considering it since cheaper id read up these forums first)...brought the filter and fluid to them and they did a flush and fill for 140. They do carry diaqueen fluid and not overpriced so u can get it there. I believe they only have the expensive filter though.

i really appreciate you taking the time to answer all my questions. im being really picky with who touches this car because of all the horror stories i read on here.
it looks like im going to be talking to boostin preformance pretty soon. shes got 58k on the clock now and i dont have any record of the trans oil or diffrential fluid being swapped. im also happy they carry diaqueen, more than likely to avoid any issues or avoid me being paranoid im just going to pay for it. now if i can find someone in the chicago area with a tactrix cable! ..
