Borla Cat-back and what HFC?

Hey all,

I wasn't planning on modding much until I get everything at once but found a combo glitch plus with the Black Friday 10% off I couldn't pass up on the deal on a Borla Cat back.

Anyone running a Borla w/ a HFC? Since the Borla is only a 2.75 inch and not a 3 I find that all the HFC out there is also 3 inch. Any advice on a HFC or how you manage to do it?

Thanks

As you said, any of the HFC's I've seen are 3",
If you aren't doing the DP it doesn't particularly matter because that's gonna be your greatest restriction. In the real world, that 1/4" really would matter to much, when you get form 3" to 2.5" with no taper reducer your gonna see that joint get stupid hot, and a reduced flow.

If I were you I wouldn't sweat it. And get whatever 3" HFC make you warm and fuzzy inside.

I guess my real question is would I have any fitness issues connecting it with the 1/4 difference in size. Do I need anything so no leaks.

Thats a good question, Usually your "fitness" :P Issue will be the bolt lining up for the flanges. You can jump ahead of that by buying a HFC with slotted flange holes, or the same goes for you catback.
Worst case scenario you grab a die grinder and open up the holes a bit. I would check to see if your catback comes with slotted holes first.
