Of course I am now at 108K miles - just out of extended warranty.


I ordered a rebuild kit ($90) and will let you know what I find inside.


Any ideas for better sealing to better prevent future corrosion? I may just scuff paint it with plasti-dip... Or can you suggest something better?


I am not a good candidate for the relocation kit (I am a Sportback)...

 

My service light just came on last weekend. Fortunately I'm only at 80,000 so extended warranty should cover it. I'm just worried about being modded and tuned, I've read they've denied some people.

 

They can't deny you for that unless they show an exact reason why. the acd pump just supplies pressure to the center diff.
