SST tranny education

I just bought a 2011 lancer ralliart
When I put it in drive 1 or manual mode in 1st gear and start to go it reeves up to about 2500 rpm and then starts to go kinda acts like I am driving a manual and am letting out on the clutch slowly does the same in reverse any help explanation or advice would be helpful

Normal. It is in fact a twin clutch system, not an automatic. As long as it's not revving to 5k rpm, you are good.

Ok I was worried it reeves to around 2750ish before it starts to go

The TC-SST 'slips' more when cold (to warm the fluid).


Try using Sport/manual for a firmer shift and better control.
I drive sport/manual always and keep the revs at or above 2k (by downshifting as appropriate).
