Want to make an intake.
Want to make an intake.
So I have decided to keep the platform and moving forward with Break, Intake, IC and IC Pipes...
The IC pipes are pretty straight forward. But making an intake for this looks a little off..
From what I can see from the turbo the stock pipes 90's up and rolls at the same time then traveling vertically ..
So any one made an intake before and can point me in the right direction. I want it all out of 3in so I can use the EvoX maf calculations.
I have not started to rip things down yet because it is the DD and I want to do it all at once.. Just looking for material I will most likely need and ideas on how to make a simple and clean intake.

I've made 3", 3.5", and 4" intakes for another car I own using this method.
Use cardboard tubing and packaging tape to keep the composite from sticking, instead of steel like in the vid.
You can also glue a bunch of foamular insulation foam and sand it to the shape you want. Wrap it in the composite material and use acetone to dissolve the foam from the inside. You will have to coat it in a layer of resin to seal it after the tube is in its initial rough stage.
Matching silicone angled couplings can be sourced on ebay.
Thanks for sharing I might look in to it more.
I am a welder and was thinking of making it all from aluminum. But I will do some more reading up on this for other projects.
