Hi everyone so a few days ago my serpentine belt broke while I was driving but I got a new one and installed it correctly the car ran fine but I drove it for the first time and it started getting shredded and the belt came off again. I just got back from pushing it home . Will some one advise me to what i am doing wrong?

 

Sounds to me if your shredding belts that one of your pullys is either bent or is in bad shape. I would advise you to put one on and see if the belt leans one side to another. If so then you should prob get a new pully depending on what one it is. I know when mine had this problem it was my water pump pully. It was warped and i had to buy a new one.
