How to remove the front emblem?

Any tips? Do I have to remove the whole bumper?
I just want to replace it with a black one.

I'm pretty sure its like the back emblems. Just heat it up then use some floss and saw it out.

Thanks for your help. I just used a tool to pry it off. They emblem sits on raised bumps, so not sure how well the floss method would have worked.

I went with plastidip for now. Here are a few pics. Close up of Off, Close up of On, Far away of On. Sorry for the crappy iPhone in the garage quality.

Looks good, I just taped mine off. Either way, it works.

LRA joe. In this same section of the forum, the "how to" section, there is a detailed walkthrough of how to remove the chrome ring, with pics and everything. Check that. In the future, try out the search feature on the toolbar up top and you can find just about anything you want. Pretty much every question you have has been answered at some point. Welcome to the forum.

the chrome ring is best taken off by removing the bumper first, imo.

I didn't have any double sided foam tape on me or anything like that. So I just used duct tape and it holds so far.

Go to Walmart or Auto Zone and pick up some emblem glue by 3M. It's like a clear silicone. It I'll get a pic up tomorrow if I have time.

I did this on my GTS and the adhesive was still super sticky after painting so I just stuck it back on... Seems to be holding up fine
