I was bored tonight so I decided to play with it, Im going to not give out alot of details on how I did it yet due to this being the first proto type Let the pictures speak for themselfs let me know what you think

That isnt the same as what was done here. That will limit light output and covers the entire tail light. This is painting part of the INSIDE of the taillight black.

yes i know this, however instead of making a long drawn out process and going through all this hassle, you could just do this and be done within an hour. and come out with nearly the same results. ill post a pic of my back end and let yall see what you think, not putting down this project at all, just seems like alot of work for something that you may be able to do with the paint.

It has no lense on it I was just exploring with an old tail light. I baked them for awhile and then cut open.

I would rather do it the RIGHT way. It's my car and it deserves the best. Even if it takes longer. Besides, it would be illegal to black out the tail lamps in NY. Just my 2 cents. Looks good.

if it looks like **** then you must of did something wrong, my car looks amazing with it. Now thinking about it though, it may be the color of the car that does this, i dont think a red car or a white car may be able to pull off the niteshade since it makes it so dark. For me my *** end is black and it looks fine! still never took the pic but i will once this rain gives me a chance to do so.
